Great meeting last night, CCCA! Thanks to all the candidates who attended the forum and answered some tough questions about the future of Livonia ~ Tom Robinson, John Pastor, Conrad Schwarts, Leo Neville, Steve King, Brandon Kritzman, Susan Nash, and a representative for Laura Toy. Thank you to Stacey Dogonski and the board for hosting this event, to the members for submitting questions and attending the meeting, and to Jeff Brindley, Investment Advisor for Foresters Financial Partners, Inc., for donating refreshments.

I encourage CCCA families and neighbors to watch the video, learn more about the candidates, and to get out and vote on November 8th!

It was our first time at the picnic and our family had a really great time. Such a nice day to meet new neighbors and have some fun with other families. I have pictures that I could send, where should I post them?

I was out of town for a couple of weeks in July and received a call from my neighbor on a Saturday afternoon around 4:30. He was calling to inform me that he had seen someone walking slowly and stopping in front of my house, this person spent some time looking up the driveway and finally walked up the front porch. At that point my neighbor went into his bedroom and watched out his window as the person pulled something out from under his baseball cap and appeared to be trying to gain entrance through my front door. As this was happening my neighbor was on the phone with Livonia Police who had a car on the street within a few minutes. I had the screen door locked and he must have given up and started walking down the street, LPD caught him a few doors down. When they questioned him he stated he had gotten the wrong house and was let go. After talking to my neighbor I called LPD myself to find out the details and was also told that this person had gotten the wrong house and that I shouldn't worry about it. I'm still trying to figure out if this P O S missed his mark by one house, one block or one mile. I'm guessing he only missed it by a locked door. Thanks LPD I feel safer now.

Marcus was one of the nicest men I have ever met in my life. I just found out about his passing and am so upset for everyone that knew him. He was kind, patient, and caring, and I will forever remember his smiling face. He will be missed by my husband and I, and our two dogs.

Marge, we are very excited to have the FHS choir at the event! This is really going to be a great event. I have heard these kids sing and I am always blown away by their talent! Really awesome!
